The youth will be hosting a pasta luncheon fundraiser Sunday, August 5, 2012.  We will start serving after our Sunday school classes let out and we can get tables up…say 11am.  We will serve until 1:30pm.  Mrs. Susan will be preparing different pasta and sauce choices for you to choose from.  All meals come with bread, salad, drink and homemade desserts for $10.

SOY: Mrs. Susan could use your help with set up, break down, etc.

SOY Parents: We are in need of homemade desserts if you would be willing to make something please contact me.

Make a day of it.  Start with church, then luncheon and stay around for the packing of our SOS backpacks for students.  We will be working to pack around 150 backpacks for the students in our community.  This will begin at 2pm.  With homemade ice cream to follow.  What better way to spend a Sunday!!!

Food, Fellowship and Fun!!!

CALLING ALL YOUTH—–>Our youth space is getting some much needed upgrades!  Mr. Dennis and Mr. Brandon have been working hard on putting in our new tile floor.  We’ve still got tons to do before SOY starts back.  I could REALLY use some help!  We will be painting, cleaning, organizing, etc.  on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 10am-6pm.

I understand that everyone may not be able to stay all day and that’s cool.  Don’t let that stop you from coming.  If everyone would pitch in a couple of hours we would be able to knock this work out in no time!  Don’t worry about lunch and drinks…I’ve got it covered!
